Currently, the user provided fops, "real_fops", are stored directly into ->d_fsdata. In order to be able to store more per-file state and thus prepare for more granular file removal protection, wrap the real_fops into a dynamically allocated container struct, debugfs_fsdata. A struct debugfs_fsdata gets allocated at file creation and freed from the newly intoduced ->d_release(). Finally, move the implementation of debugfs_real_fops() out of the public debugfs header such that struct debugfs_fsdata's declaration can be kept private. Linux kernel ============ This file was moved to Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst Please notice that there are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
